We always think of Gladys Pink as a native of Grimsby and Cleethorpes (The Last Resort). Sure we know she has an American passport but her beginnings in the US of A have always been a bit of a joke in our puerile eyes - given that she told us her family is native to Bald Knob, Arkansas. Fnarrrrrr. Yes she always claims to be trailor trash. But we thought she meant that she, like fellow Grimsberian Gladys Big Ears, holidayed 200 yards from her home on the Fitties Caravan Park near Pleasure Island (Pleasure you can measure, but only with a very small ruler).Yes, she always drinks Root Beer instead of swilling it round after cleaning her teeth like the rest of us...Yes, her teeth are all exactly alike...but secretly we were laughing behind the back of this evidence of Yankdom. Now thanks to Gladys Whipper's newly acquired digital camera, evidence has been uncovered to make us think that there may be more to Gladys Pink's claims than we thought...Does she in fact not only have American pedigree but also American footballing pedigree?
